My Tegu arrived today!!!

I'm going to let him settle down first before i take him out again and upset him.

He's just sitting in a corner staring at me now, i think he's a little scared being alone and separated from all his brothers and sisters at the shop.

I uploaded some pictures in my gallery they're pretty bad but i'll upload some better ones when he's settled.

Nice to hear our tegu family's expanding! Congrats mate!

Wise to give him some time to adjust to his new environment.
Make sure to give him a place to hide icon_wink.gif

Yea a nother new Tegu.Congrats on your baby.If you want to you can use my T-shirt trick. It worked very well for me.Put on two shirts. One so you will not get scratched up and the other one is for him to hide under.Tegus feel save when they have a hiding place and you are it now.He can feel your body heat and smell your skin, too. That will help him getting to know you better.Hope that helps.Good luck with him/her.What is his/her name ?

Thanks Txrepgirl, I'm probably going to use your trick icon_smile.gif
His/Her name is Pingu, my mom couldn't remember Tegu so she kept saying when is Pingu coming...
Pingu's pretty scared all the time it seems, when i enter the room he runs to his hiding spot and then keeps looking at me until i leave...
But it'll get better i'm sure icon_smile.gif
