Does somebody here have a plated lizard?

I saw a couple of these in one of my petshop.

Are they tame?
Do they have a nice temperament?
Are they intelligent?

thank you!

icon_biggrin.gif I kepted some sudan plated lizards docile but flighty. housing 4/4/2 cage desert cage alot of rock basking areas temp 90-100 basking spot cage temp 75-80 short winter rest for about 6-8 weeks at 65 degrees then warm up helps with breeding icon_biggrin.gif they are not bred that much in captivity because of imports being cheaper. they are cool lizards shame people dont keep and breed them more often icon_biggrin.gif
feeding they eat insects some apples and canned reptile food icon_biggrin.gif

yes they seems to be good pets, as the worker in the petshop told me, they are very tame. But I am going to read more information about them because petshop are always trying to sell anything they can.

I go one time in a petshop, I ask if he had a Tegu, he answered me, ohhh no Tegu are so nasty and agressive. I was like icon_eek.gif icon_question.gif What's the problem ( I am usually on a forum where people tell me that they are so adorable pet ).

However, I am going to get more information about it.

yes or the kind of legend, if you buy a very big lizard and you put it into a small enclosure, he will not grow up lol icon_lol.gif
