ya know did you ever talk to Ben3233 here on the forum he lives in the same place as you and he is very knowledgable. perhaps he can help you as far as getting a tegu quicker or you can ask Rick the Admin here he breeds tegus maybe he knows icon_biggrin.gif

Eh bien, Salut smicky, comment sa va? j'espère que sa va bien, Oui oui je parle bien français et je vien du Québec aussi, plus précisement a Pointe-Calumet, toi tu habite ou? Je sais pas ou ta pogner ton Tegu blanc et noir D'argentine mais j'aimerais bien le savoir (est-ce que ser a laval? l'importeur de reptile de québec?)

En tout cas, je suis la pour te dire que je suis dans ce forum depuis longtemps, je n'ai appris beaucoup sur le Tegu,surtout sur son comportement car je suis a la recherche d'un gros lézard assez intelligent et qui ne déteste pas se faire manipuler/flatter.

Il faut d'abbord que tu fasse attention au Tegu que tu va acheter, que tu sache bien la différence entre un Tegu d'argentine et un colombien. Celui d'argentine a des rayures a partir du cou tandis que le colombien c'est des point noir. (va voir sur Helpful info, il y une photo du colombien et de l'argentinien).

Voici les informations de bases pour un Tegu d'argentine.

Cage: 33 gallon bébé, 80 gallons juvénile, 6x3x3pied pour un adult

Humidity: 60-80% moyenne 70%

Température: 100-107 point de réchauffement (basking)
87-95 coté chaud
75-93 coté froid
pas plus bas que 65 la nuit

Nourriture: fruits, légume viande, poisson, oeuf, insectes (faut varier)

Lumière: Une lampe de chaleur et une lampe UVB (Très important)

Décoration: une cachette pour chaque coté, branche,feuillage et gros bol d'eau pour qui puisse se baigner et boire.

Supplément : Calcium/d3 et Vitamine

Pour ce qui est de l'hibernation, je n'ai pas encore de Tegu pour te donner des informations désolé.

pour commencer je suis de la region de joliette .
jai apeller magazoo pour en avoir un , je sais pas cest qui sont fournisseur .
je savais deja la difference t'inquiete( entre colombien et d'argentine ) jen connais qui ce sont fais avoir avec ca lol .

premiere question , ca leur prend des uva ?

comment savoir qu'il a asser manger , ils on la reputation de " poubelle " mais je luis donne a manger tant qu'il en veut plus ? ou je doit respecter certaine quantiter selon ca grosseur ? ( pour ne pas faire de l'over-feeding , et le rendre obese )

POur ce qui est de la lampe, je crois que c'est une UVB, mais je vais retourner voir sur Rick Caresheet pour en être sûre. icon_wink.gif

Pour ce qui est de la quantité, Rick l'administrateur lui, nourrit ces Tegus tous les jours avec des petites portions (ce que je crois qui est mieux) , nourrir un reptile 2-3 fois par semaine, je trouve sa trop long et je m'imagine pas a leur place manger seulement 2-3 repas par semaine. icon_biggrin.gif

Oui les Tegus sont des vrai poubelles, ils peuvent manger beaucoup mais il faut surveiller leur poids. Pour voir s'il n'est pas trop gros, il doit avoir une base de queue bien grasse (si tu vois les os des hanches c'est qu'il est beaucoup trop maigre). Mais bon il faut voir a ce qu'il y a une bonne bédaine (pas trop grosse non plus). Un bébé Tegu qui fait un peu d'excès de poids n'est pas si grave parce qu'il doivent grandir (y grandisse très vite) mais un gros male adulte d'argentine peu peser 6kilos. Même certain Tegu rouge peuvent atteindre 26 lbs.

Mais bon, sa se regarde beaucoup a l'oeil. Vérifie a ce qu'il ne soit pas trop gras (va regarder des photo de Tegu) pis essai de voir la grosseur moyenne.Le Tegu doit ressembler a un Tank et non une grosse patate lol. Il faut pas oublier que un reptile ayant un surplus de poids, ne vivra pas très longtemps. icon_sad.gif
