Louie seems to have decided lately that laying in his water bowl is his favourite thing to do and I don't know whether to be concerned or get him something bigger to lay in water in _________________ 1.0.0 Louie Our Red Argentine Tegu

well some tegusenjoy misting and they do recomend you have a big enough water dish for your tegu to soak in, what levels of humidity do you keep? and what basking and overall cage temps do you keep ?

Yes some tegus love to soak in water, and some don't I would recommend you to get him a plastic bin or medium size tupperware, cut down the rim so that he can enter without no problem and get him a separate water bowl that he doesnt fit in.
