Any suggestions on cage set-up?

I just purchased a new columbian tegu a few months ago. Hes about 15 inches long i have him in a 5o gallon right now, but i just cleared an old room that used to be a shower it is 5x3x5 i could even make it two story if necessary any suggestions are most appreciated. Thanx

that would be nice for them either way. it sounds like that would be large enough. what are u going to use for substrate?

they dont really need height, just floor space. look at the galleries alot of nice setups here already copy one or get ideas

i noticed he really likes to burrow in this substrate but I only had a couple months experience with tegus so any suggestions would help

id say give them about 4-6 in of substrate if able. they do love to burrow

His new cage is almos done i cut the height a little its 5x3x3 now. I will post some pics soon.
