I have saved a baby red from a local pet store. When we got her she still had 3 sheds worth of skin on her. We had that problem with Tango. He is missing all of his front toes because his owner didnt get the skin off his toes. When we got him his toes were all about to fall off we saves 5 toes out of the 20 digits. With both getting regular baths the skin has been removed and they are both doing great. She was really squeamish when we got her but she went from a tank no bigger than 20 gallons at the pet store to the 90 gallon she is in now. We will be getting a 8x3x2 tank for the both of my tegus and will have free roam (he already does). So she is getting used to us and loves to be out of her cage. She acts like all 3 of my leopard geckos when she wants to come out she scratches at the glass like a dog to a door. She is very adventurous and wants to climb off the bed constantly But with her being as little as she is and my room being only tegu proofed for Tango. But when Tango is with her she loves to be near him. It is so cute. She tries to follow him around and her recent thing is to sleep with him under his pillow on our bed. Luckily Tango is good with her, she will crawl all over him and he just sits there and gives us an evil look. When she hears him or sees him out she starts clawing at the glass. If we would let her she would even be with him in his enclosure. But I am afraid of him killing her if we arnt watching since she is so little. But getting back to my question I know that she is supposed to eat fruit so that her skin stays healthy but she doesnt like any fruit but peaches and she doesnt eat those very much. At her young age should she be resisting fruit?

If she loves meat, take a lot of different fruits, put it into and blender. After you got a little fruit pudding, mix it with the meat. Or put it in the meat itself. He/she will eat it without knowing, what an evil plan! icon_twisted.gif

Hope it help! icon_biggrin.gif

Ben's tip is spot on as it is the same one he gave us as Louie does not like his fruit and veg much. So I roll a certain amount into turkey mince and he eats it without knowing.
