Hello, I have a beautiful bearded dragon. He is very tame, but the funny thing is during shedding. My little buddy transform himself into an agressive dinosaur alone into his enclosure.

Let me explain...when he is shedding he rubs himself everywhere in his enclosure (branches, rocks and even the carpet lol), and after, he still have a piece of shedding and try to remove it. Sometime he doesn't succeed so he opens his mouth and expend his bearded. Sometime when he open his mouth it looks like he is saying (arggggggggg) of frustration. Also he used back leg to rub his back to take out the shed.

Do your bearded dragons turn into a dinosaur during shedding?

The funny think is when I come near of his enclosure his agressivity turns off.

We just got our adult Bearded Dragon last October ( 07 ) so I saw him shed just ones.He always was kind of pale looking but when he shedded he had some beautiful colors under neath the shed.Yes,he does the same thing. What was so funny when he was shedding was that he never gets in to his water bowl so I gave him a bath to help him shed. The next day he got into his big water bowl and started to swim around in circles icon_lol.gif .We loved watching him.

Mine is pretty funny during his sheds too. He runs all over draging his rear when he gets down to the tail part coming off. He loves his bath time during sheds though!

Bearded dragons look an utter mess when they are shedding >.< My female is the worst out of the two, the Male tends to rub it off against the branches and other furnishings.

Funny how nobodies beardies like taking a bath.. I have a large water bowl in both enclosures and they often sit in it. sometimes even sleep in it

Dave.
