Hi and welcome to the Tegu forum family. When one of our Tegus had the runs for like a week we took him to the vet.He told us to give him some caned dog food and not feed him raw meat or fish for a while.I told him that we are giving our dogs Nutro ( brand ) natural choice ( has no by products ).He sad that this is the best food for dogs but for the Tegu I should get the caned dog food for puppies. It's lower in fat and it is for a sensitive stomach.I give it to my Tegus one a week now ( just a little bit of it mixed with the lean ground turkey ).He likes it so much that when I let him free roam while I'm spraying down his enclosure he gets in to our dogs food.Of corse I take him away from there because I don't want him to eat to much of it.When I have to feed him 8 o'clock in the morning and I just worked the night shift it is hard for me to remember to put the dog food up.Hope that helps.
