Congrats on your new baby Tegu.Yea I know how that goes. Those Tegus are so dangerously cute and lovable. It seems like you can't have just one.We already have two arg.bw.Tegus and today when I got some feeders for our reptiles I saw a baby red Tegu and of corse I wanted to hold it.On one side I'm glad that with having 7 reptiles we ran out of room.Or I would of got that Tegu, too icon_lol.gif .

oh soooo cute. now that really is big brother. their sizes and how fast they grow amaze me. it's so good to hear your are giving them a good home and take such good care of them.

I am like you I have 3 now. 1 colombian princess (angelrose). 2 b/w funny little args (guin & lance) and I say more colombians, more args. and I feel obligated to save them if I see them in pet stores.

I mean I will move the furniture out if I have to icon_lol.gif (ask my daughter icon_lol.gif ).

see, so you know how it is when you see them and the bedding is all dry and the water dish is empty ,I love the tegu's and I go out of my way to make sure they are well taken care of My cage's never have poop in them they always have fresh bottled water and they are monitored for heat and humidity too, I have bulbs from 50 to 250 so if the temps in the house are high or low i can keep my cages at a desired setting, it's hard but worth it.

not to bash but they suck, we bought water dragons from them during the expo last year one died in a week the other had a respiratory infection and died a month later, they breed bearded dragons that are pretty basic, and most of the animals they sell are from other suppliers, they do stock some rare stuff on ocasion but usually wild caught. the price's are insane 300 bucks for a red tegu, yeah right . I saw some black and whites they had and the owner said you should buy one they are selling fast and i said for 180 bucks I can pick any black and white I want from any state and have it shipped to my house overnight for less, plus you sold me 2 sick water dragons last year. So bottom line I left with a baby black and white tegu for 110, and a health guarantee for 30 days

Yeah. It was harder convincing her that I could get the tegu than the beardies. ( But she gives in all the time, 2 beardies, 1 tegu, 6 dogs and 2 horses in two years. )

Yes, I agree, for the moment I only have 1 bearded dragon and he is in my bedroom. My Brother is also in the same bedroom, so it's hard for me to get more place. But as soon as my other brother (20 years old) will quit the house, I will have a big room for myself. It will be easier for me to get other red Tegu! icon_biggrin.gif
