how long does it take for a tegu get to get full grown

roughly 3-4 years......also depends on what is fed to your tegu, the length is about 3-4 years full size. but weight all depends on food

i seen some b&w at a pet store today they were pretty big he said he wanted like $500 is that normal for an adult.

to be qiute honest this seems reasonable to me, since i live in the uk and when i bought mine he was wanting £300 for it. theres $2 to £1 so seems about right.....but when i declined the offer a few eeks later he had a closing down sale and i got the tegu a 4ft tank , and the mercury vapour bulb which was £40 included. for £150 = $300 so i got a good bargain. or you could go the other way and buy a smaller one , and let it grow up to know you more....its up to you buddy.

sounds a bit pricy to me. A baby b&w shouldn't be more that $150. I just paid $200 for a b&w/r hybrid. If it is full grown I'd say like $300-$350 tops. Thats US prices Im taking here.
