I don't know what could be wrong with Zeus.3 days ago his front legs were shaking and yesterday it stoped and today it happened again. The only thing I can come up with is because he sleeps a lot and just basks for a few hours and maybe doesn't get enough UVB.I feed him the same things that I give Leonidas.Actually he eats better because he eats the fruits. The lighting, humidity is right. It drives me nuts not knowing what could be wrong.I might have to bring him to the vet soon.Oh,I was just thinking that he maybe doesn't drink enough water.Could that cause the shaking ?

Thank you Ricardo.I changed to a different light bulb again.Hopefully that will help.I was of today and I think I maybe know what is wrong. He was basking for a while but as soon as he finished eating he dug down in the mulch and went to sleep.I think he doesn't get enough UVB because he is inside the mulch to much.I tried to take him outside to bask today but it was kind of cloudy out.

I wouldn't presume it's a lack of UVB, remember Tegus burrow and hibernate up to 6 months of the year (no UV at all) and spend as much as 80% of their time in their burrows even when not hibernating. There is also a very small (I'm not a member) of owners who believe Tegus need no UVB lights so long as they get adequate Calcium from their diet. If he has a calcium deficiency, he may need a vet. to resolve the issue. Good luck, and keep us posted.
BTW - Sancho's been burrowed for 4 days now since the weather cooled here this week, so I can't say if he's shaking or not.
