tegu bad breath

hi guys ive recently bought a male red and white was in slightly bad shape to start with, everything else is sorted now but hes got really bad breath and no obvious signs of mouth rot do ya think this is the start of it

Hi turkish.Welcome to the Tegu forum family and congrats on your new Tegu.Here is some info about mouth rot.I really don't know what it could be but it sounds like it could be the beginning of it.Just keep a eye on him for a few days and if it doesn't go away I would bring him to a vet.Please keep us posted on how he is doing.If you don't mind me asking are you from turkey ? if you are than merhabba ( I probably spelled it wrong.I know my turkish is a little rusty

).I can speak it better than write it.

evening all no im not from turkey im in sunny hertfordshire uk just a bad nickname i guess lol ive got 3 b+w args already so not that new to it really its just the first time any of my quartet has had this hes booked into the vets tomorrow just in case its probably because hes got a really bad habit of chewing stones lol
