can my bearded dragon and baby tegu monitor be in same cage?
because i just moved my beardie to bro's house and he has a tegu and when i soaked my beardie she saw the tegu and wanted to investigate him/her (dont know gender) and she was NOT puffing beard is it ok for them to play?

2 different types of lizard needing 2 duifferent living conditions the beardie needs it hot and dry where the tegu needs it a little cooler and damp so I would definitley say no we keep our 2 beardies and our tegu separate,,,,, at all times...

No. Both have completely different needs and the tegu will quickly outgrow the Bearded. If you want your Bearded to stay alive then def. do not house them together.

One more thing, Tegu's are not Monitors.

I guess gila's and beaded's are monitors also.

wow, i'm suprised your tegu didn't eat the beardie right then, my tegu gives my aussie waterdragon crazy looks when he see's em. i definatly won't let em anywhere near each other.

grox thinks everything is a potential meal.
