in my dads boat and theres this nest that last year i found 4 baby birds in and i watched them and i wend in side to get the camra and their mom took them away......well yesterday when cleaning his boat and thought "theres not gunna be any eggs in it caus we moved" well i was rong i started taking out the nest and it was old you could tell -- it was just like faling apart and so after i got the first coupple chunks out 5 bird eggs roled out by then the nest was in the garbege.... one of the eggs fell and got a bump on it and is started to leak so i took the others in side and called my sunday school teacher cus she has chickens and she has incubated some eggs before she told me what to do so i did it. i think their chickadee eggs but im un shure any one have expereince with rearing wild bird eggs?

ok well if you want to tell if they are still alive take them into a dark closet and hold them to a small flash ligh you should be able to see if they have veins inside or not if they do they are alive ( obviously:P) well all i can say is that raise baby birds that small could be the hardest thing to ever raise.. the eggs need to be turned and they need moisture too because they can dry out but not too much it cant be wet ...once the eggs hatch they need to be fed very often and through the night so if you are in school i dont think you will be able to do it icon_sad.gif you can buy a mixture to feed baby birds at the pet store... ive never had any luck with hatchling birds so good luck ( if you still have them hmm maybe i wrote that too late?)
