theTegu.com - Tegu information, photo gallery, forums, caresheets, diet & nutritional info, taming tips and more for the argentine black and white tegu, argentine red tegu, blue tegu, colombian black tegu and the colombian gold-phased black tegu. Tupinambis merianea, teguixin & rufescens.
Ground turkey, rodents, some fruits like grapes and strawberries. I definitely
am partial to the blues and reds. Out of the 5 b&w, I have 2 favorites. One is a male that is about 10-12 lbs and a female that is 8-10 lbs, they are huge. I decided that I really want to concentrate on the blues and reds though.

Welcome wil to the Tegu forum family. That is a very nice outdoor enclosure.Good job. What did you put on the buttom of the enclosure so they can't get out ? I would love to have that many Tegus but not the food bill .Can you please post some pictures of your Tegus ? that would be nice.Thanks.
There is nothing on the bottom of the enclosure. I dug a trench about 2 feet deep around the perimeter and put a barrier down to prevent them from digging out. I will get some pics of them up when I can.
