A while back you had mentioned to another member regarding a shedding problem. To give a warm bath as the solution. Well I decided to give "lady a change of pace an gave her a bath. I have never seen "lady" so happy since I bought her. She was swimming around underneath. She even gave me a slight hard attack. I went out of the bathroom to get a towel for the floor when I came in she had her eyes closed and was like dead weight so of course I grabbed her out the water. Oh, she was fine just enjoying the water when I went to put her in her enclosure so she could sit under the lamp she didn't want to get out of my hand. usually she would jump out just to get back to her safe place. She was so upset I put her back in she kept walking up to the glass ever time I walked by. Thanks Rick I have now made it a staple for when she is out a little dip in the pool so to speak.

I am glad something you picked up from the tegu community made you and your tegu a bit happier. Daily enrichment for your tegu keeps it mentally fit and happy. It's also enjoyable for us to watch our tegus have fun.

I think I finally found the character flaw or disfunction in my tegu. WATER!!! she hates it absolutely hates it. If I start taking her towards water she tries to hide under my arm.
