this is the community eating & basking center. I will take pics of all 3 tegus & 1 sav laying on top of each other basking when they are all awake.

I didn't think is was possible. I always wanted to buy a Sav and TEgu and house them together.

if you house them together one will die

your too funny ! of course, I don't house them together. during the day you have to skip over lizards here. I let them all out to free roam. and sometimes they stop in to look at the others home.

you really can't 'house' them together. the requirements are different.

they don't fight do they? i would love it if when my tegu is more tame can hang out on my lap with my sav but i thought they'd just attack each other

oh, you found this pic ..lol. I have had 'Bear' (sav monitor) for a very long time.
this pic is a community basking spot (I call it now) and they just wonder in there; all of them and take turns laying on top of each other.
I don't suggest doing this for obvious reasons. I keep a very watchful eye on all.
