Its been about 2 weeks, and yes I use a UVB light and of course I dust his food with calcium. There are no rep vets in my area the closest one about 6 hours away.

let him bask in the natural sun light for at at least an hour a day sometime in the afternoon sun.

does the calcium powder contain phosphorus ?

what have you been feeding him ?

what kind of UVB light do you have ?

How often do you give him the calcium powder ? do you feed him spinach ? if you do please stop giving him the spinach right away. What kind of fruits and veggies do you feed him ? I recommend it,too, to let him bask in the natural sun light. How old is your UVB light. If you want to you can take the bulb to a reptile store and they can check if the bulb is still good or if you need to get a new one.

No I don't feed him spinach, and I dust his food with calcium every time I feed him, it contains no phosphorus. I sometimes feed him grapes and he likes bananas. But most of the time he wont eat the vegetables I give him. The UVB light isn't that old, I bought it when I first got him and he's still pretty young. icon_cry.gif

thanks for the help, I will try taking him outside and let him bask in natural sunlight.

are you feeding him any whole prey ? fish ?? organ meats ?? I wouldn't go heavy with the banana or grapes or fruit in general. go with mango, papaya and your melons: cantelope, honeydew

let him bask in the natural sun light; afternoon.
