Gucci was also the first one to let me know how a tail whip feels 'ouch' ! Gucci was with me for a good 15 years. what a life with her. is yours a male or female ?? I had a female. she started laying unfertilized eggs. at first, just a few maybe like 22. then one year Gucci got egg bound. I took her to the vet and he opened her up and removed the eggs (43) and her uterus as best he could cause of the vain that goes through there. the next year she got egg bound again. back to the vet and he opened her up again. she had 53 very large eggs, he was amazed at the size of them ...........and I was amazed at the vet bills ...lol Congrats, take good care. Igs are really prone to MBD, especially since they are strict herbivores. A good deal of natural sunlight and some top greens like collard, mustard, and turnip will do wonders. Skip the lettuce and go easy on the carrots.
