he might be weird about eating in his new environment, but then he might not. i handled mine as soon as i got him and he was very calm. i think it should be fine, but someone on here with probably differ.

P.S. make sure his water dish is big enough for him to fit his whole body in. i didn't realize at first how important that was for a good shed. my BP hates water, but he knows what he has to do when it's sheddin time.

As you have not handled her much, you may want to let her wait til her next shed--in some cases, if the humidity is good enough, the old shed will come off with the new. If it does not, When you are used to handling her (and also this depends on how stressed she gets...) grasp her neck directly behind her head (not too hard, but strong enough to keep her head in place) and you can take a soft towel moistened in warm water to gently rub the shed loose--Be very careful as this can cause stress--if she is too stressed or you dont feel comfortable about this, take her to a vet or a person with herp experiance (ie a reptile shop owner)--they would probably be able to show the best way to remove retained sheds.
Good luck!

boamaster.com is very good. the humidity should be around 65%. there should be two hides one on the hot side and one on the cool side. this way she can regulate her temperature and does not get stressed. I have had two bally pythons for a good while now and have tried different things and I have noticed that they preferred regular shoe box hides with a hole made on the top of the box. big enough for them to get in and out. big enough for them but small enough to make them feel secure. oh and you can also make a moist (not wet) hide with spagnum (spell right ?) moss and rubbermaid box placed over the uth or simply place and keep a moist (not wet) wash cloth in the hide over the uth.

offer kain a mouse/rat what ever is appropriate for her size once a week if she doesn't want it/eat it then wait till next week to offer again.

are her eyes still milky gonna shed look ?

does she eat live or f/t ? if live then leave it in there no more then 15 minutes and always watch. for my ball pythons, I always hold the tail of the mouse on the very end and if they want it they grab it so fast and do the twisty thing quicker then I can bat an eyelash.
I just want to say I do that with my ' ball pythons ' not the others. and as you know always make sure you wash your hands before and after.
