I doubt it. They sneeze when they've been digging around or playing in the water. A 'cold' in reptiles in termed Upper Respiratory Infection (URI) and would be seen as open mouthed breathing, heavy breathing, lack of appetite, etc. It's usually (not always) from consistent low temps, especially with high humidity.
I found a quick link with lizard info as opposed to snake info, even though the symptoms are about the same.
But Melissa Kaplan is the gold standard!

Is the entire mulch moist ( not wet/soaked but moist to the touch ) ? not just the top but the entire mulch.Because if you just mist the top of the mulch but you don't stir it up the buttom mulch will dry out. When that happens your Tegu will breath in some dust.Or he might just had a drink.Sometimes when Tegus drink they sneeze after that because some water got in the nose.It also can happen that the Tegu has some bubbles comming out of the nose. That is normal. The second link that Laura gave you is a good one.Hope you are ok and that your foot will heal fast.

Both prior posts are quite accurate, all I'd add is regarding your basking temps. What is it? Above 90 I hope? _________________ 1.0.0 B&W
