Just the Tegu for $120 or you can have his cage and a bunch of his stuff for $200. He is priced so low so he will find a home quickly, but must go to a good home. Also I will not ship him. I Live in the Salt Lake area and also drive up towards Gillette WY often and could deliver him. Would be willing to drive about 100 miles or so out of my way to deliver him to a good home.

Dresden is an Argentine Red Tegu, about a year old and has been handled a fair amount, so he is pretty tame. I assume him to be a "he" although I have never sexed him. He hibernated last year. He has never tried to bite and only squirms a little when you first get him out of the cage. He does have a single kink in his tail from a falling injury. He jumped out of my arms last year, because my cat startled him. I really wish I could keep him, but I don't think it would be fair to him, as I can't seem to spend as much time as I should with him.

Dresden's stuff includes:

~40 gallon aquarium (36 X 18 X 18)with sliding/locking screen lid, the bottom is cracked so it won't hold H2O, but it taped and works well for the young lizard.

The tank also has a large under tank heater and a small under tank heater that can be used.

~Mega-Ray SB 100 Watt self-ballasted mercury vapour flood UVB lamp, purchased Feb 2008. See www.reptileUV.com for more info.

~Timer to switch the basking light on and off. (It's kind of noisy, but great for when you won't be around.

~2 huge bags of cypress mulch bedding (2 cu. ft/56 L)

~Large half log hide

~Plastic food bowl

~I have frozen food for him: Mango, papaya, plantain, kiwi, chicken hearts(raw), liver(cooked and raw), mice, 1 day old quail, rat pups.

~a critter keeper with Madagascar Hissing Cockroaches, a jar with superworms.

~Calcium supplement (Rep-cal), probiotics like what are in yogurt (NutriBACdf), multivitamin powder (JurassiVite)

~a container for dusting insects with vitamins

~coffee table that his cage is on.

~four ceramic feet to allow air circulation under the tank

***Basically the only things you will need to get for this guy is a ceramic based heat lamp and a non-tip water dish. Also, he WILL out grow the 40 gallon by this time next year and will need a cage with a floor area of at least 8ft X 4ft. I can give you a copy of plans found to build a sweet inexpensive Tegu enclosure***

Let me know if you are interested via email, text, or a phone call. I am usually available Tuesdays and Thursdays, most evenings and weekends. I can email current pictures and pics from last year. Thanks!
