first the bad news: i went to the portland maine reptile expo planning on getting a tegu from rick but when i got there he didnt have any tegus! he told me that about a week before all 60 baby tegus were supposed to hatch his incubators helix went on the fritz while he was at work and when he noticed that his incubator was 112 degrees all the baby tegus had died.

that was hard as i was really looking forward to my first tegu, but i did purchase the most beautiful and tame amel het for motley corn snake.

B&W's hatch in July, there's no way any eggs would be in the incubator now.

This is Blue Tegu time! I've got 29 in the incubator! I'm hoping they're fertile.

I think he meant a week before they were to hatch, not a week before the event.

Dave, the point of your post is what? How about feeling a bit sympathetic for the guy who's not getting his tegu and for the guy whose lost business? Oh wait your just here to stir things up on someone else's behalf....

Please don't let things get heated up icon_wink.gif .Yes,I wish, too, that more people would care about what happend to the poor baby Tegus and not worry about the money part or not getting a Tegu.People always can get Tegus some where else but Rick lost allot of babies that can't be replaced.Yes,he can have a nother big clutch next year but I feel so bad for the babies.I pray for Rick's next clutch to be blessed and that everything will turn out well.
