Ok so was doing some research since my mom said i can probably get a tegu for xmas or bday and I came across the snow phase blue tegu. This is easily by far my favorite tegu i have seen. I was wondering though how much will one of these cost? im guessing alot, if i can even find one... i tried looking for some online but i couldn't seem to find any. Thanks

They were in the thousands a couple of years ago...$2000-$3000, is that right?

The last opinion I heard on the matter was that the snows and albinos are one in the same.

Well, you never know. That was a while back and prices may have changed. Ron St. Pierre used to sell them, but he hasn't had any last year or this.

i was at the reptile store and i overheard a tegu breeder talking to the store owner about how the snow's keep dying because they keep eating each others poop. =[
i'm not saying you shouldnt get one, but thats probably one of the reasons they are so expensive

in fact, i fully support your intent to buy one. they are awesome looking lizards. they aren't even cute. they are just BAD ASS.
my B&W would look like a freakin cartoon next to one of those bad larrys.
