Dan- I think I am going to back out on the Golden unless no one else wants her, which doesn't seem the case. If it were a Red female, I'd be driving down there now! But I'm a little leery of a Golden- that is aggressive, needs to be tamed down-I'm not sure I want to take on that challenge right now. (I am actually looking for a pair of Jeweled Lacertas-if anyone knows where I can get a pair of those guys please let me know.) Again, I would take her if no one else wants her or her situation is so terrible but you said they seem to be taking care of her well? She's just very cramped and not handled? Let me know-I'll take her in but I probably wouldn't be her forever home.
My e-mail, if you prefer, is tinkerdink@hughes.net and you have my phone number-call me if you need to. Deb
No worries at all - you're a responsible person for knowing the limits, and I appreciate you giving her a backup plan! I received an email from Maria that sounded optimistic about housing her, so we may have a place soon! Maria, drop me a line anytime (sent my number in a PM).

Sorry to hear that things aren't working out well for her.It is very hard to tame a Tegu that is already that big.Good luck with the locat posting.Thank you for trying so hard to find her a good home.
Tomorrow might be a big day in the life of the little Golden Girl Let's see how it goes. It's Tegu Tuesday here in Northern California

Yea Angelrose!! You're getting Aero's golden? Good for you! Please keep us all updated on your progress with her (so that I, especially, can kick myself and feel jealous for not taking her!!) Ha Ha!! Seriously, I'm so glad you're taking her-I think she would have been too much for me to handle. And I can't wait to hear how you do with her.
