Posted: Mon Nov 17, 2008 5:25 pm    Post subject: here they are i have a real problem now. a few days ago i saw my tegu's left eye was closed. i thought it was just a bit of dirt that got into his eye so i soaked him in warm water and put him back in his cage. yesterday night the outside storage room that i keep him in got to 60.9 degrees. i know tegus hibernate at this temperature so i put my tegu in my room in a temporary cage (my room is usually 76 degrees) and would move the larger cage in my room tonight. he was a bit lethargic when i picked him up last night. the last time he ate was 2 days ago, that i know of. i came back home today and noticed he was very lethargic and only his left eye was open, and only halfway open and looked a bit sunken back. his snout had a few bubbles on it that got onto the mouth. then i saw him breathing though his mouth. i think he might have RI. i soaked him in lukewarm water just a few minutes ago to hydrate. i have no idea what this is and what is causing it so does anyone know what it is? and what do i do about it?? here are some pics of it. also when i was taking picturesi discovered 2 things- 1. a scratch/scar (i put non painkiller neosporin on it) 2. he pooped out something (last 2 pics). _________________ --0.1.0 Columbian Tegu-- 1.0.0 Blacklined Plated Lizard 0.0.2 Five Lined Skinks 1.0.0 Broad Headed Skinks 1.2.0 Eastern Glass Lizards 1.1.0 Leopard Geckos 0.1.0 African Fat Tailed Gecko 0.0.1 Grey Ratsnake -And ALOT More Herps Back to top GotteeGuy Member Joined: Aug 07, 2008 Posts: 49 Location: somewhere in the world.. who knows?
