I guess if your going to use that, first thing first, remove all the nails, screws etc, and totally dismantle it. You never quite know whats lurking in the corner's of crates.

Secondly, I would say it will need a good sanding, and sealing with some sort of waterproofing agent. I used outdoor fence paint for my enclosure, as this offer's a good water esilience.

After that, start rebuilding it, and see what you can come up with.

I think the first question is: What was shipped in it? Was it hazardous? Was it live?

That does look good icon_smile.gif

Just a question - how are you keeping humidity up in that thing? Did you water-proof it?

Actually, that was two questions. But you get the idea.

EDIT - also a pointer; is that blue light at the top of the cage a fluorescent UV light or is it just a reflection on the lens? Bear in mind that, if its a UV tube, its way too far away from the animal to be of any use whatsoever (it needs to be 6-12 inches away for any effect). If its an MVB, 2 feet is the furthest you can have it, and at the furthest extent the strength of the UV is greatly diminished.

Correct me if Im wrong icon_smile.gif

Maybe some levels would be nice in there?
I made some in my enclosure and my red loves it!
And you would get the max of use out of the space of the crate!
