To enter the competition keep in mind the following;

1: Every registered user can post only one picture every month to compete in the picture of the month competition.

2: The picture that is posted should be either shot by the member or show a tegu that they own.

3: As this is a tegu forum only pictures of tegu’s can be entered.

4: Pictures you enter should first be placed either in the public or your own gallery to prevent dead links.

5: At the end of the month a poll will be published on which the members can vote for the picture of the month.

For questions on how to post pictures in the gallery go HERE.

For questions on how to post pictures from the gallery on the forum go HERE.

Ok, that's it! Move over Prolecat. This time I am going for the gold! icon_smile.gif

Here is my most favorite picture of Draco, our adult male Argentine Black & White Tegu. He is currently free roaming a local park, standing guard under his favorite tree.

When I see Red tegus that look like that I wonder if my red tegu is a red tegu or a red/blue cross. My red tegu looks more like "rust" or orange and the black is vividly black.

This is not a submission to vote on.. just a color comparison link.

Rick: I believe that is a red/blue cross or something similar. I have actually seen people selling tegus that look almost exactly the same as blue tegus. Goto http://www.eastbayvivarium.com/virtual/lizards/bluetegu/BTF01-2.jpg
