-over 12 ppl stop you at a mustang show and ask if your lizard is real.

-you sit and wunder if you could live thru a water moccosin bite.

you sit in bed thinking of who you can scare when your now 16 inch tegu gets to be 3 1/2 feet long.

All you have on your calender is when your feeder mice mated and there due date but dont even have your best freinds Birth day on it.

you had 175$ but spent it all on the 2 baby corn snakes you had to have!

your best freind just got a new rat and you say so? when can i have it? cus he likes you and caves all the time

your telling your freind when you mice are going to have babys and the lady behind you asks what do you breed them for and you say Yum yums (to my tegu thats FOOD) and she says What? you say Only my lizards and snakes know what that means.

your mom calls you when theres a snake in the hall way and you pic it up and it tags you.

you use any thing you can find to restrain a brown tree snake and the lady behind you says "Its a moccosin" and you have to let it bite you to prove its not.

il think of more L8R

- You remember latin names of 100s of species but forget your tehcers...
- Your garden has more dandlions than gras..
- When you manages to sleep to the sound of hundreds of crickets in your room...
- When you do it easy and replases all the plants in the house whit plastick, caus eyour tegu have killd all the livving...
- When you dont mind having cocroches in the roof...

Ha! Reptiles are nothing - all the equiptment on my fish tanks combined consumes about....hmmmm....5 million watts a day.

My favorite "you know you're a herper if..." has always been -

"If you've ever had to explain to your land lord - 'I'll pay my rent just as soon as the eggs hatch!'"

We just had a heatwave over here.
It ended this friday with some mighty thunder 'n lightning
And tomorow we'll again have some nice warm weather of 24 C
And we get to sit in the car for over an hour ...so I hope we'll be lucky and drive without getting stuck ina file again...

you let mice loose in your bedroom to promote natural hunting instincts....
you don't think twice about sleeping with your tegu for warmth when the power goes out...you don't think it's gross to let your lizard drink out of your water bottle....

I only have an iguana.
But you know you're ig-whipped:

When it's late at night and your iguana is sleeping perfectly with his moonlight shining on him and you leave the room because you need a light to perform actual activities and you don't want to wake him up.

When you leave your stereo on 24/7 because it's warm and your ig likes to hang out on top of it.

When your whole day is spent thinking about what you're going to do with your ig when you get home.

When it looks like your ig is going to attack you and you hand over the orange you had been looking forward to because it's his favorite and apparently he was looking forward to it too!

Everytime you see your friends, they check out your arms to see the new scratch marks you have acquired.

You have dreams about your iguana quite often and they usually involve people trying to hurt him/her and you end up making those people sorry they ever tried to mess with your baby.

You have a file on your computer dedicated to your iguana which you've entitled "The ruler of the house."

When your wife has been looking at buying you a mini fridge for the reptile food that's taking over her fridge - Turkey, chicken, beardie salad, fruits, mealworms - and I also stole some of the chicken breast she took out for our dinner tonight and ground it up for the kids icon_wink.gif
