Glad to hear one of you already have theirs. The others should be arriving very shortly.
Feeding shouldn't be an issue. All of the tegu hatchlings were already eating well on crickets and small roaches. I had not moved them to turkey or pinkies yet, because at this size I generally just like to get them eating all of the supplemented insects I can. I put the insects in and let them eat their fill. If they need more I add more.
Take pictures and get them posted. Keep us informed.

My Tegu has arrived as well after quite a journey - He tore up a few crickets, took a nice big drink, and his checking out the new digs - I even had him take a little nap in my hands - I will get some pics up this evening _________________ 1.0.0 Ball Python "Albino"

Great pictures. Be sure to feed them whatever crickets, superworms and small roaches that they will eat. Supplement them with vit/calc powder, such as Miner-All. These tegus have been through a bit of stress with shipping so they may be a bit tired and weak.. Feed and allow them to relax. It will be a bit hard for you, but try not to over handle them at this critical time.

I got my Tegu yesterday, it was a bit stessed from the heat but it is doing a lot better. I fed it some crickets last night and it ate 4 and then took a dump. Now it is drinking YAY! I tried feeding it this morning but I think it just got up and isnt that hungry. I will try later. Thanks for the great tegu, Rick! I will keep you all updated. _________________ 1.1 Veiled Chameleons

Good deal - mine only ate 3 crickets yesterday, however today he ate 5 crickets and a superworm - will see if he is hungry again later, and broke in the enclosure with his 1st dump lol _________________ 1.0.0 Ball Python "Albino"

very active and already started eating a ton. it looks like i'm going have to watch this one. i've heard tegus can get over weight quickly.
You don't need to worry about them getting over-weight until they are sub-adults. Just avoid fatty foods. Feed adult rodents over young rodents when possible. Feed plenty of insects and fruits.
