yeah they can get to 6 feet but thats some most get 4 or 5'

I had one for 10 years. He was the best reptile pet I've owned to date. He never bit anyone. My tegu has the potential to be even better, but it's going to take a lot of handling.

savs only get 3-4.5 feet long. 6 feet is an exaggeration. hope you got a big cage and lotsa food saved up.

i've seen a huge savannah at a reptile show before. people were taking pictures with it. it was easily as big as a dog. probably could have fit a full grown rat down its throat. i like savannahs but i think they get a little too big for me.. the huge one i saw would have needed a whole room to itself. very big boy

when my b&w argentine gets full grown i think i am gonna make his home in the guest room's walk-in closet. its about 10 feet long and about 5 feet wide. with a light and some other additions in there i think it could make a good "cage" for him
