Ok well ive posted an add for a young blue tegu now i was just wondering is there any one out there that will ship to Ontario,Canada. I really want one of these guys and im willing to pay the price. If any out there will ship to me or knows any one that will fill me........ Thanks

I looked into shipping to Canada since I am in Maine, USA you'd think it would be pretty easy, but it appears otherwise. You could look into importing a tegu into Canada and drive down to Maine August 28th for the Portland Maine Reptile Exo. I will have a few tegu hatchling for sale there.

Canada's laws on such activities are pretty lax at the moment. Essentially, Canada really doesn't have any kind of restrictions of its own to speak of other than banning the import of any kind of chelonian or chelonian product (turtles, tortoises, turtle eggs, anything made from any part of a chelonian). However, the caveat here is of its own. Canada respects CITES and whatever the laws of the exporting nation is, ie. if the US has restrictions on the exporting of these animals, you are legally required to honour them before bringing an animal from the states here. Furthermore, each province has it's own set of laws concerning exotic pets that you'll need to look up. In Saskatoon I can legally bring in anything as long as give advance notice to the authorities, in Alberta, however, I am not allowed most larger snakes, crocodilians, anything the authorities determine to be "large and a hazard to the public" (really nice clear legislation). So essentially, check your provinces legislation before you do anything.

well im allowed to have them here b/c i just got my argentine black and white from my local reptile store. The only thing is not alot of people want Blue Tegus for what ever reason and that sucks b/c i really want one. Thats why im looking for some one to ship me one or w.e. To sum things up i REALLY WANT a BLUE TEGU

Ya thats where i just got my argentine black and white. they said they were to sure about getting blues in. So im now looking else where so ill try here hopefully ill get lucky!
