Gooch had a great first day!

I got my new baby from Rick today. He is just the cutest thing I have ever seen. I couldn't ask for a better temperament either. He is so sweet and I fell in love rite away. He is eating well and he must be pretty comfortable because he just snuggled into his substrate and is snoozing as I write. I held him for a while and he just sat in my hand and flicked his little tongue around. Gooch and Paco have seen one another through the glass and Paco keeps trying to lick him, Gooch just sits there wondering why this big rat is licking the glass.LOL But I haven't allowed them to get close to each other only through glass. I am glad you are pleased with Gooch. I am sure he will be happy there.

Make sure to keep us posted with new pictures as he grows. I also suggest, for your record, to take Gooch once or twice a week and measure him from nose to tail tip, from nose to vent (base of the tail) and weigh him if you have scales. This will help you to monitor his growth but its also great to look back on.

I do this with all of my tegus.
