hey everyone finally found some time to get back here
well everything seems to be going good with rockey (new pics in my album) except lately he almost seems to be a little more agressive towards me i feed out of the cage and pet him or try to pet him (lately) everyday. can anyone tell me why this behaviour has only just begun now, and what to do? thanks for your time

If youre only petting him every now and then, this could be a reason. Ideally handle and interact with them as long as possible every day, particularly when they are new. You dont have to keep picking them up or whatever (in fact, this can stress them out) - but just doing things like leaning into the cage to mist, moving things around etc will get him more used to your presence again.

Other than this, has anything changed at all in his schedule? Food, temps, cage size etc?

no nothing has changed and i pet him multiple times daily probably not enough though. i didnt think that would cause him to go from being passive to agressive but thanks

Is it possible that he might be closing in on a shed cycle? In my experience, reptiles get rather huffy when their skin gets tight, dry and itchy. If his colors are starting to dull a bit, then maybe he is going to shed soon. For lack of a better example, it could be compared to a woman's monthly cycle. The body is changing slightly and this can make them bitchy.. haha
