It is true that you should never feed fruit to tegus under a year old? I've been told this before, but after looking around the forums it seems that a lot of people do. I don't want to cause the little guy any health problems so I just thought I'd ask.

I think the idea is to try and start them with fruit asap, although this should not replace any rodent/meat based diet, and only used to supplement the staple.
