I believe if pesticides and chemicals "fertilizers and such" are used and picked up by the grassshoppers, These would not be good for the Tegu to ingest... _________________ 1.0.0 Ball Python "Albino"

In terms of the pesticides, you'll probably find that the grasshoppers carry that small amount, that the trace ingested would not make any difference to your Tegu. They have probably evolved a tolerance to these things anyway over the years, especially wc Tegu's. Pesticides have been common place for maybe 8 generations of Tegu in the wild. Not saying it couldn't harm them, but the chances are slim for just the odd ones.
If your that worried, it may be an idea just to rinse the crickets in cold water, to get rid of any external pesticdes they may be carrying.
