jack just got a mega ray ang he's lovin it ive never seen him so active he'll walk around his enclosure and stop bask for a few then walk around more

It sounds like a very good bulb. With good uv readings. I am thinking of trying it. Is it true that too much uv can be dangerous? Shannon

The only shaky ground regarding the use of UV, to my knowledge, is based on eye damage. Persoanlly, i don't really understand the science of it all to fully comprehend, but i'm pretty sure that i've never heard of UV being detremental to the health of any lizard.
