How long can i keep a tegu in my aquarium? Before i have to build a custom enclosure?

I have a 125G aquarium, and thought maybe i could keep it in their?? it is 7x3x3 i think... could i keep 2 tegu's in their until they grow out of it? or is it a bad idea..?

thanks

Personally, i don't think that is a bad size. Ideally, the tegu would need 8l x 4w x 2h, but in a 7x3x3, it would do fine, if it is let out often for some exercise.

7x3x3 would be fine to house an adult, although bigger is better - Keep in mind 3 foot or wider wont fit through a doorway unless your doors are wider than 36 inches, which mine are all 36 so I cant really go wider than 30 inch, unless you don't mind disassembling the enclosure when needed ...

7 x 3 x 3 is way more than 125 Gallon, even in UK gallons. More like 250 Gallons.

Just thought i'd add that.

My 5 x 2 x 2 tank is 120 Gallon.
