Is it true that bluetegu do not need to eat fruit or greens at all??

With the exception of the Red Tegu, I don't believe the Tegu's need to be fed fruit, however it would be most beneficial to the Tegu that fruit were offered and they take to it for variety and nutritional value - I have never tried greens with my Tegu's - My Argentine will eat fruit, however my Colombian will not ...

My Columbian loves mangos and bananas-especially if overripe. Variety would probably benefit lizard if it will take them.

I understand Columbians do not need fruit in their diet. I've never tryed feeding My Gold fruit, yet, but might try it! icon_idea.gif
