I have for sale a very nice looking female blue tegu. She pretty tame and a great eater! She's 33 inches long and 2 years old. I think she's almost ready to breed.... I prefer local pick up near Orange County, Ca. but will ship if I have to. I'm asking $260 if picked up or $300 shipped. Here's a link to her picture:
How's their temperment? And their intelligence especially.. I'm doing a personal paper on reptile Intelligence, and since then I've been collecting the reputed most intelligent species... So.. yah, is she observant? Aware of her environ? Changes in it? Think she's receptive to rewards?
Just trying to get an idea , I know Argentine B&W's can be pretty smart.. but blues are unknown to me.
If you think she has potential, let me know.. I might get her if she's still available in the next few weeks, if nothing else.. I could possibly drive out there and see her myself firsthand.

she's very alert and responsive. i think she's just as smart as argentines. i haven't had her for that long so i'm still getting her used to me. she's a good eater and loves to explore her surroundings. you're more than welcome to come and check her out. where are you located?
