How long does everyone bath there tegu for on average? I bath mine once a week for as long as he can handle it (before he really starts to panic). Usually lasts about 15 min. Should I keep him in there longer or is what i'm doing ok?

I was also considering bathing him twice a week for fifteen minutes but that may not give him enough time between soaks...don't want to keep him to wet and get more shedding problems.

I soak once every week or so. Sometimes every 2 weeks or more. If your humidity is right you don't need to soak at all. 5-10 min is all I get before she wants to get out. If she wants out I let her out.

I put a bowl in the pen and let them bathe themselves

I have a bowl in the pen as well but he never uses it, besides drinking.
