Alright well i actually found a great UV Heat bulb made by T-Rex. My only other question is now whats the difference between flood light and spot light bulbs. I ask this because they offer them in both. They have 2 choices which are 100 watt and 160 watt. Thanks guys

spot lamp gives off a tighter, narrow beam and the flood light will just light up everything

I prefer the flood type so it can heat up not only the basking spot, but the area around it as well - How long he's in a 55 depends on how fast he grows - I would say when he reaches 1/2 the length of the tank, it would be time to move into something bigger ...
