My Colombian hates water and frantically tries to get out of the rubbermaid when I put him in, My Argentine is pretty mellow in water and will usually do his duty in there - I can't say that I have seen mine shake in water though ...

hi, i have a colombian as well and hes never shaken in the water before, but he does defecate in it as previously stated, the only time ive ever seen mine shake was when i had too strong of a lightbulb too close to his basking spot and he was overf heating, so maybe you just have the water too warm? just a thought, good luck
