In Large amounts The Big Cheese Rodent Factory has better prices then Rodent Pro on mice, but their price on rats is higher. I have been talking with Chad over at the Big Cheese and he's giving me his lower price on his mice and Matching Rodent Pros Rat Price! The mice at The Big Cheese are also larger then those at Rodent Pro! Now I need to go pick up one of those mini Freezers before Thursday! If all goes well I'll be using them from now on! I had the order shipped through grayhound and saved about $65 off of Fed Ex! It's a 2 day but they guarantee frozen delivery! I'll let you all know how it goes!
Well I got an e-mail back from Rodent Pro and it was something like $65 Cheaper!!! I cancled the order. I have to wait till I can approve a mini Freezer. I hate living at home sometimes LOL! _________________ John Light

do your blues take roaches? We have these things in the house that make a low freq. noise to keep away roaches, mice and so on which work amazing. They have gone bad and I caught one (a roach) the other night. I tried feeding it and the male wouldn't even look at it. Maybe I'll try again. _________________ John Light

NO NO NO NO
only farm raised roaches, clean roaches!!
that may sound like an oxymoron but there are clean and dirty roaches. Out of 3000 types of roaches, less than 10% are dirty, that is carrying disease and bacteria. Never feed wild caught anything as you dont know what nasties it may carry. There are feeder roaches that have a high meat to shell ratio and are highly nutritious _________________ Bennett

I use to raise my own mice but hated the whole pre-killing thing first so I went back to the pet store (which is expensive) untill I find a good place to get a shipment from up here in canada.

That is the best part about working in a research facility. Free, CLEAN, mice, rats, g.pigs!! I can get about anything as far as sizes for nothing!! I can't tell you the last time I had to buy any feeders with the exception of crix and mealworms! If anyone ever comes around the Cincinnati area let me know and I'll hook you up!
