I have a question about clicker train. I have a baby Argentine Tegu. He is still green. Hes very calm, likes to be held. I want to clicker train him and afraid that he wont learn since hes still a baby. Could they be any age to learn the clicker train? I really want to train him so I could bring him outside and click and he come back like what Rick as been telling me about his tegus.

I would start clicker training your tegu as soon as possible, that way it gets used to it at a young age. When you use the clicker say your tegus name while clicking it so that way when you decide not to use the clicker anymore your tegu still recognizes its name and will come to you. Good luck!

What would be a suitable "clicker" for training, I doubt there are specialized clickers for training tegus, lol. What is everyone using?

Just your typical dog clicker found at any pet store.

Clicker training tegus was something I started awhile back when I realized tegus could learn and recognize color. Since then I have clicker trained and even name trained tegus with great success.

Clicker training works as long as they are always rewarded with a food item/snack. (I keep a deli dish of superworms on hand)
