I ordered 1,000 superworms from nyworms.com two days ago, on May 22nd for $22.50 shipped. They have great prices. Around 3 o'clock today I got the package.

I opened the box up to reveal: WORMS and WORMS. Big ones at that. I was very pleased.

I have a small rubbermaid "tower" thing that I house them in and I'm using regular oatmeal for their substrate.

As soon as I walked into my room, my beardies hopped up against the glass on their tanks, no lie:

Overall grade: A+

nyworms.com is great and I will be doing business with them again VERY soon. I will also add that when I transferred the worms to the containers, I didn't find ONE SINGLE dead worm. Not one. Their worms make for a happy beardie. Highly recommended.

That's kind of odd, I discovered their site today and I was looking at it and then I was searching to see if anyone has ever dealt with them... then I come on here, and poof! You give them a good review. I was looking to find a new worm supplier because I tried worman.com and I was very dissatisfied. I won't get into that, but if anyone wants to hear it, feel free to contact me via IM, PM, or email. I will definately give them a try, and also, nice looking beardie. icon_wink.gif icon_biggrin.gif

Yeah as I said, nyworms is awesome. I don't like feeding my bearded dragons crickets anyway. They smell, they escape, they're annoying, everything. The superworms smell like apples and oatmeal, which is very nice lol. They're easier to catch to feed to the lizards too.

Hey Nero I tried wormman too. I took them like 2 weeks to SHIP out my order. I paid using a credit card too. I'm not sure what took so long, but whatever.

Yeah, with wormman, I ordered and paid with a credit card, then 5 days went by and it still wasn't sent out, so I sent him an email asking when it was going out and why it was taking so long. Then, 5 days later, I decided screw it, and canceled my order, then 4 more days go by and I get an email saying my order was shipped out and will arrive in 3-5 days. I got my order, but it was 18 days after I ordered it... needless to say, I was upset.

AAAhhhhh yes..... I got my 2k mealworms today, came in at around 2pm, I was quite happy to see that, luckly I went outside right after they came, because the stupid mail carrier just put them on the middle of my doorstep right in the sun and just left, didn't ring the bell or anything, so when I went out to walk my girlfriend to her car, I saw the mail lady driving away and I was like damn, no worms, then turned around and bam, there they were. Anyways, back to the topic on hand, NYWORMS.Com is definitely a place to get feeders from, I would reccomend them to anyone, they had great customer service and quick shipping and quick response time. icon_biggrin.gif icon_biggrin.gif icon_biggrin.gif

i've had great success with reptilefood . com also for the last 2 years. supers are hardy. they are a staple feeder for my beardies and monitors and tegu and veiled cham. one problem with them is that the beardies don't want crickets anymore. they hold out for the worms-silk and supers. supers are 1:9 Calcium to Phosphorus, too so shake them in some Calcium dust a few times per week.

another nutrition site said 1:18 Calcium to Phosphorus. either way it is way below the 2-3:1 most lizards thrive with. cheers.

I've delt with NYWorms for a long time now i dont know why i havent writen a review. I live in Cal and even though there are places closer that will ship and sometimes are cheaper, i end up with half my shipment dead or dieing on arrival. so time and time again i order supers from NY Worms and each time i open the box i couldn't be more happy. My tegu loves when they come in, i think he can smell when i open the box, lol!!!

100% customer service too, Rita is great any question you have she'll answer and its like she never sleeps becuase even at 5 am she'll responed. So if your looking for super worms at a great price i high recomened NY Worms.

This sure got my attention. We bought some supers but haven't pushed the BD's to eat them, they've been eating crickets their whole lives (a little over a year). I tried feeding them to our new 2.5 year old Blue Tegu but he wasn't interested. I'll have to try them with our 5 month old Tegu (16"-17"), he should be big enough for them now.

Need slightly deeper bowls though. Those little buggers can get out of the ones we have.

Our smaller BD has found be really like roaches (I breed them) but I'm getting low on males, he will have to go back to crickets or eat supers for a few months. We have a 2 month old Blue Tongue Skink who loves baby roaches, he's eating all of the ones who should be growing into new adults!
