Fact #1: Albinism has not YET been noted in T.merianae (Argentine Black & Whites), either captive bred or wild caught.

This is NOT fact. This only what you think and would like others to think. It insinuates you know every tegu breeder on planet and every animal they produce, and that you have read each and every documented tegu encounter in english, german, portuguese and spanish: I guarantee you, you do not and have not. Do you know Edmundo Mikhailovich? How about Wilfred Klein? Tobias Wang perhaps? Cynthia Prado?

Albino? Certainly. Blue tegu? Doesn't look like one to me.

Fact #2: If there was an albino Argentine Black & White out there producing "100% het for albino Argentine Black & White tegus" I think this community would know about it since that would be news worthy, but failing that, the chatter would be all over the web.

I would disagree again. Not everyone into reptiles is in it for the money and fame. A few of my friends have nothing to do with the internet for one. And a number of us are very discerning over who we trade with. Beings as you are such well known breeder and knowledgeable tegu authoritarian, you should able to tell me what breeds I work with. I'll admit, in as much as some of us has tried to find excellent homes for our animals as opposed to supplying stock to wheelers & dealers, we do have little control over what they do them once they leave our hands. All I am suggesting is your knowledge is not absolute.

Please, can someone tell me what species this? Apologize for quality. Photo taken in Para, northern state of Brasil, on border with Suriname and Guyana. Thank you

That's a Tupinambis merianae

A typical dark headed argentine black and white tegu.

If he has proof of an albino arg black and white, I'd like to see it. Somehow I doubt highly that he will be able to produce any proof, and you were probaly right in assuming he is nothing but a troll.
Rick's the person I'd go to for information.. well.. him and Bobby too!

Not that I agree with the whole albino black and white thing, BUT, just because someone has a different opinion than Rick's doesn't make them a "troll".

I say its a troll when the deny facts and try to support their opinions with more opinions.

It's not the fact that he disagreed with Rick at all. I bet Rick would love to be challenged by someone who could hold his own with tegu knowledge. However, that guy came here with nothing but rude posts, attacking Rick without showing any credibility. If you can't prove what you claim, at least show others respect. Just my opinion.

Troll usually refers to someone who comes onto a forum(or chat) in order to cause discord for the sake of discord. It's nothing more than attention getting.
A broad statement like he made, made in a challenging way, without any facts to back up his claim, combined with his challenging matter means he's behaving like a troll.
I'm certain that I could post on here saying that albino Arg B&W's exist without being labeled a troll. I'd just have to show some proof, and say it in a way that didn't try to call people liars and cheats. However, I've never seen a albino Arg B&W, so I won't do it.
