I think it's the responsible thing to do. I've had this tegu since early July, so about 7 months. He was 15" when I got him, and is now 27". He's been fed crickets, superworms, earthworms, mice, rat pups, occassional fish, and a variety of fruit. Yeah, he eats fruit.
