Respiratory infections can be brought about when temps are too low or humidity is off, or both at the same time. What kind of temps/humidity do you have in your enclosure? _________________ Laura R (FL)

It might be beneficial for you to use a probiotic supplement to restore some of the beneficial bacteria in the gut that would have been destroyed by the antibiotics. Most antibiotics given to reptiles are general and so destroy all bacteria, both the harmful and the beneficial types. Make sure it is specific to reptiles. NutriBAC df is a good one. It comes in a powder form, and can be sprinkled onto food like any other supplement. It is also very water-soluble. Some people use yogurt but I would recommend against this as reptiles may not be able to digest dairy and could lead to further ailments.

I agree with the recommendation for supplemental probiotics. Nutribac and Benebac are good ones. I take human ones myself after a terrible intestinal infection that resulted from antibiotics and a simple sinus infection. Terrible, terrible!
OK, 25 degrees, is that like 72-75 degrees F? I would check his basking spot and make sure it is hot enough for him. High humidity and cool temps can cause RI, plus, he could use extra heat to boost his metabolism and help heal, like getting a fever. Fevers are actually good things, we just think they are bad because we feel like crap! But it's the body's way of revving up the immune system to work faster.
I'm glad you were able to get him seen and everything's going well! _________________ Laura R (FL)
