yea, full name is Mexican Black Kingsnake Lampropeltis getula nagrita

i don't know if it's just mine, but they seem to act unlike most snakes. i diden't even really want a snake, i just thought he was so cool looking and the guy had to get rid of him, and i knew i'd be able to find him a really good home if i diden't like him, but he's soo cool i've been holding him every day.

this snake has no face
the texas blind snake or Threadsnake

Threadsnakes are small thin snakes that resemble large worms. The skin is smooth and appears shiny and wet.
No eyes are present, only dark spots where eyes should be.

weird... but kinda cute in a creepy way

Do you hold him after he has eating? Also hand feeding snakes is never a good idea.

honestly i hold him while he's eating, he coils up on my arm, and i dangle a dead mouse for him, he grabs and swallows the mouse in mid air. i don't see why it'd cause problems. and yea, he kicks it after he's eating, i think he likes the warmth for digestion.

really, i don't care if he feeding response bites me. snake bites are a joke. i hack my hands up making warhammer models way worse than a snake ever could. not to mention groxy's daily shredding of my forearms.

i mean don't get me wrong, he's not exactly a retic or anaconda, he's just a kingsnake, no power in his strike, with teeth thinner than a tattoo needle, i prolly wouldn't even notice if he bit me.

Thanks icon_biggrin.gif

The top one is an Argentine Boa Constrictor. Same species as a Red-Tail (like the Peruvian in the bottom pic), just a regional subspecies.

I have had them for about 3 months, I more or less rescued them from an owner who no longer wanted them.

They are now, they were extremely underfed when I got them (the Peruvian had ribs and backbone showing). They have eaten really good for me and have put on alot of weight.
